These are the Orange version of the Citrus Sorbet cupcake series. There is an abundance of citrus right now in WA and I would be MAD not to keep up the 'citrusy' work while everything is so beautifully fresh ( and cheap, from the tree in my backyard!!) (Lips smacking)
The buttercream has the Orange sparkly tang while the cupcake base is more mellow and flavoursome. "Straight-off-the-tree-fresh"Orange juice is the best and finely grated zest can be seen as bright orange flecks throught the silky buttercream.
